Loading & Crating Procedure

The loading procedure is done by consultation with the airline regarding the size of the hold of the aircraft coupled with maximum loading capabilities within the aircraft. This dictates the size of the animal enclosures and the destination. We only use enclosures which have a built in drinker system thus ensuring that the animals have free access to water for the complete journey.

The airline will give us the optimum length width and height of the crates, dependent on the size of the animals, this then dictates whether the crates are packen in a two or three deck formation. At all times the welfare of the animals is our first priority.

The airline selected is chosen to give the most direct route and minimum travel time thus ensuring that the animals arrive as stress free as is humanely possible.
